Portraits

About a month ago I had a friend take some pictures of Sally and Austin. Since she put the highlights on her blog, I'll just send you there rather than do the work of posting the pictures myself.

I think she did a great job, and I got just what I wanted (except a shot of the two of them smiling at the camera, but that was probably asking too much).

On a side note, I'm thinking of giving up blogging, but I'm torn. Any thoughts?

Instead of looking at blogging as something to give up, don't look at it as something that you 'need to' or 'have to' do. Keep your blog available to post when you're in the mood to get your thoughts down in writing. If that only happens twice a year, twice a month or twice a week, then who cares? It's your blog!

That's how I've treated mine lately - and while I haven't posted recently, I have a few things in mind that I'd like to post - if I ever get around to it.

That - and we love reading about your family and kids. It's a great medium to stay connected across the country, but it requires a bit of work.

We blog for 2 reasons really, 1 reason is for family since we live in AZ and most of our family lives somewhere else this is one way to stay in touch with them, 2 it's a journal, there are companies that will put your blog into a book which we havent done yet but we intend on doing it...plus I like looking at your blog every once in a while to keep up with my friends from high school_Adam

I love to read your blog, but I understand it came be tiresome. I like the comment tysqui made, it's a good way to look at it.

Personally, I love reading other people's blogs. That said, I don't enjoy reading sporadic blogs near as much. I say either blog or don't blog. But don't be a fence sitter. Too many people have blogs but don't post enough (in my opinion). I hope you choose to blog. :)

I'm on the fence right now too. I don't like the (self-induced) guilt for not blogging regularly! Do what you want, as long as you have some way of keeping a record of your family, because I think that's important.

Keep it! Just blog when you can and don't feel bad if you don't do it as often as you'd like or worry about what other people think. We enjoy reading it and seeing pictures of the kids (and you & Neal).
